A Christmas Cake Smash
This cake smash session started with preparation. I worked with Studio JD in Old Forge to put together a set felt slightly Christmassy without being overdone. I picked up the balloons and poinsettias locally, and the trees were actually decor that a neighbor gifted me last year.
The session was broken into three parts to keep things relaxed and flexible. We began with family portraits in front of a Christmas-themed set designed by Studio JD.
A Day of Santa Magic in West Scranton
This year, I had the absolute joy of photographing a four-hour community Santa photo experience at the West Scranton Youth Center, hosted and funded by the West Scranton Wrestling Alumni Association and the Youth Arts Coalition. Families were invited to bring their children to meet Santa, share their Christmas wishes, and leave with a printed portrait in hand the very same day. This event was a beautiful example of what happens when community, generosity, and holiday spirit come together.

Behind the scenes from a recent branding headshot session with Pawsitively Premium Pet Care at Studio JD in Old Forge, PA. These images were created to strengthen brand cohesion and improve overall brand visibility across their website, marketing materials, and future speaking engagements. The goal was consistency. When headshots live side by side on a website or social platform, they must look identical in lighting, tone, and framing, with the only difference being the person. That visual consistency is what creates an elevated and professional feel.
